Treasury Controller

Our client, the largest global player in providing solutions to meet worldwide energy challenges today and tomorrow is based in the Zurich Area. In this role you will be reporting into the Head of Group Treasury.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the preparation of the Group Treasury management reports
- Contribute along with Group Controlling to the disclosures for external financial statements for cash, debt instruments and derivatives
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of treasury accounting
- Contribute to the execution of the Group’s regular foreign exchange (FX) hedging process (this involves hedging the Group FX exposures through the central treasury balance sheet and analyzing and explaining the FX results throughout the Group)
- Delivery of Group Treasury risk reports
- Control monthly reconciliation reports and validate market valuations of the financial instruments
- Issue necessary documentation, control effectiveness and accounting records for FX hedges and other derivatives (Interest Rate Swaps, Options, etc.)
- Monitor financing of group companies and ensure agreement and restrictions compliancy
- Liaise with accountants, controllers and auditors
- Participate in the implementation and specification of internal controls
- Responsible for all Corporate Treasury Policy compliance
- Responsible for compliance to external regulations (EMIR, FATCA, Dodd-Frank Act, etc..)
- Analysing and reconciliation of cash forecasting data, explain deviations and set-up mitigation measures
- ICS process owner Involvement in various ad hoc projects as required
Key Qualifications
- At least 5 to 10 years’ work experience plus a minimum of 3 years’ experience gained in a corporate treasury function (international group)
- University degree in finance, accounting or banking
- CTP or ACT certification a plus
- Fluent in English (written and spoken). German language skills are a plus.
